1. Elements of Art: Color
What is a color wheel?
A color wheel is an abstract organization of color hues around a circle, which shows the relationships between primary colors, secondary colors, tertiary colors etc.
2. Primary Colors: Red, Blue, Yellow
Primary Colors
Primary colors are basic colors that can be mixed together to produce other colors.
Red, blue and yellow are the three primary colors.
You CANNOT mis colors to create red, blue and yellow.

4. Secondary Colors: Orange, Green, Purple
A secondary color is a color made by mixing two primary colors.
Red + Blue = Purple
Red + Yellow = Orange
Blue + Yellow = Green

11. Complementary Colors
Complementary colors are OPPOSITE each other on the color wheel.
Complementary Colors:

12. Analogous Colors
Analogous colors are groups of three colors that are next to each other on the color-wheel, sharing a common color, with one being the dominant color, which tends to be a primary or secondary color, and a tertiary. Red, orange, and red-orange are examples.
